The accident occurred at kilometer 281 of the Presidente Dutra Highway in Rio de Janeiro state, a major road between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, within the municipality of Barra Mansa, according to the Federal Highway Police.
The road management company explained that the injuries varied in severity, with 32 minor injuries, 10 moderate injuries, and 4 serious injuries.
The bus swerved for reasons yet to be determined and overturned on the road, causing it to stop for about an hour.
