Google has introduced an early preview of its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered smart home audio device, the Google Home, which will officially launch in the spring of 2026 for US$99 (Rp1.6 million).
As reported by Tech Crunch on Thursday, this device will use a smart assistant from the Gemini AI model and is available in four color options, namely Porcelain, Hazel, Berry, and Jade.
Google Home and Nest Chief Product Officer Anish Kattukaran explained that the delayed launch was a company strategy.
Google wants to ensure Gemini's functionality is available to older device users through the Early Access program, so they can provide feedback and report bugs before new devices launch.
This Google Home audio device is equipped with a special processor to run Gemini, including noise reduction, echo cancellation, and sound adjustment features.
