Hangtuah Jakarta announces change of ownership and management

 Hangtuah Jakarta has officially announced the change of ownership and management with Harryadin Mahardika as the new owner and President of the Club.


Quoting the official IBL website, Harryadin Mahardika is a figure with a strong background in the world of business and sports, has a transformational vision that emphasizes professionalism, regeneration of young players, and the development of a sustainable basketball ecosystem.


He is widely known as a private capital manager who also plays an active role in the development of the fitness, wellness, and sportainment industry in Indonesia.


Harryadin has previously built an integrated fitness industry ecosystem, from fitness centers to padel courts, gym equipment, sports apps, health products, and youth sports academies. His focus on coaching and developing young athletes adds value to Hangtuah Jakarta as it navigates the new era of competition.




As one of two professional clubs representing Jakarta in the national basketball league, Hangtuah has shown significant progress in recent seasons under Head Coach Wahyu Widayat Jati. The club concluded the 2025 IBL season by qualifying for the playoffs and reaching the semifinals of the 2025 IBL All-Indonesian Championship, after previously failing to qualify for the playoffs.
