Ducati Lenovo racer Marc Marquez is confirmed to be absent until the end of the season due to his injury recovery process.
Marc has confirmed that he will miss all remaining races this season to focus on recovering from a shoulder injury.
"This situation should not overshadow or make us forget the great goal we have achieved this year: becoming World Champions again, and soon we will all celebrate it together. Thank you to all the fans for the warm messages, to Ducati and all the sponsors for their support and understanding," said Marc Marquez, as quoted in an official Ducati statement on Thursday.
The medical team reported that the progress of the healing process of the injury of this season's world champion is progressing normally.
However, the medical team did not recommend that the racer with number 93 immediately appear in the two remaining series, namely the Portuguese GP and the Valencia GP.
