MotoGP standings: Raul Fernandez shadows Quartararo, Alex pulls further away

Trackhouse MotoGP Team rider Raul Fernandez continues to shadow Monster Energy Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo in the 2025 MotoGP standings.

Raul Fernandez, who recently secured the title at the Australian MotoGP held at the Phillip Island Circuit on Sunday, now sits in tenth place in the provisional standings with 146 points.

Meanwhile, Quartararo, who had started from pole position at the Australian MotoGP, failed to capitalize on his momentum to gain 25 points. Quartararo now sits in ninth place with 166 points.

Gresini Racing rider Alex Marquez is pulling further away from Aprilia Racing rider Marco Bezzecchu to secure the runner-up position this season.

Alex is currently in second place with 379 points, a 90-point gap over The Bezz, who are in third place in the standings.

Ducati Lenovo rider Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia achieved disappointing results, having to accept his third-place position, replaced by Marco Bezzecchi.
