Startup Nuromova has unveiled an innovative headband, powered by artificial intelligence (AI), the first of its kind on the market.
From the outside, the headband looks like an elastic sports belt to hold your hair and absorb sweat during exercise, but it differs from traditional headbands in that it has electronic sensors mounted on the forehead.
The design includes electroencephalography (EEG) sensors that allow real-time brain data scanning, enabling the user to monitor levels of fatigue, stress, and concentration during exercise.
The prominent front section also features a vibrating device that alerts the user to sudden changes in their physical activity, helping them adjust their workout to suit their health condition.
The smart headband, called the Nuromova N1, transmits all data to a dedicated smartphone-compatible app, where users can view accurate graphs and analytics of their health and exercise performance.
Available information indicates that the Nuromova N1 is still in the development and testing stages, and the project is being funded via Kickstarter. It will be launched globally at a price of approximately $329.
