OpenAI has launched a social media app called Sora, which allows users to create videos of themselves or with friends using artificial intelligence (AI) to share on a TikTok-style feed.
At the same time, OpenAI also introduced Sora 2, the latest artificial intelligence (AI) model for creating audio and video, which is the successor to last year's Sora version, as reported by Tech Crunch on Wednesday.
OpenAI showcased several video examples generated by Sora 2, ranging from beach volleyball games and skateboard tricks to cannonball jumps from diving boards. Compared to its predecessor, the new model is said to be more realistic because it better follows the laws of physics.
