The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) held a performance analysis and evaluation meeting for the 2024-2028 Central Management at the PBSI National Training Center in Cipayung, Jakarta, on Wednesday, emphasizing the direction of governance and coaching transformation towards a more professional and data-driven system.
PBSI Chairman Fadil Imran stated that the organization is currently undergoing a transformation in its work culture and governance. He believes that athlete success is inextricably linked to a strong, credible, and measurable coaching system.
"The transformation we are building is about creating a sustainable champion system. Therefore, we must be able to build a credible and measurable system, and decision-making must be data-based," Fadil said in his official statement.
"The quality of coaching must be data-driven, with clear indicators and progress from support teams such as nutritionists, physiotherapists, and physical trainers. In the future, all areas must be integrated," he said.
He added that to meet public expectations for Indonesian badminton's achievements, all administrators were asked to work more seriously and with more discipline, as well as strengthen coordination and collaboration between sectors.
The evaluation meeting was filled with the delivery of work reports from the Ethics Committee, Internal Audit, General Secretariat, and Treasurer, then continued with reports from each head of division.
Through this activity, PBSI hopes that each sector can improve coordination, identify challenges, and find opportunities for improvement to strengthen organizational governance going forward.
PBSI plans to make this kind of analysis and evaluation meeting a routine agenda every three months.
