The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) is holding a public consultation regarding the draft ministerial regulation on the ministry's strategic plan or renstra for 2025–2029 in an effort to formulate policies in a participatory and transparent manner.
According to a press release from the ministry in Jakarta on Monday, the determination of the draft Renstra Kemkomdigi as a ministerial regulation was carried out in accordance with Presidential Regulation Number 80 of 2025 concerning the Preparation of Strategic Plans and Work Plans of Ministries/Institutions.
The preparation of the ministry's strategic plan is carried out with reference to the development priorities set by the Ministry of National Development Planning in the 2025–2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), particularly on the national digital transformation development agenda.
The strategic plan document outlines the operational implementation of national priority programs and provides strategic guidance in the implementation of programs and activities of work units within the Ministry of Communication and Digital Technology for the next five years.
In the public consultation, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Technology invited all parties to participate in designing future policy directions to further reflect shared interests within the framework of national digital transformation.
Public consultation regarding the Draft Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Communication and Digital for 2025-2029 will be held until October 29, 2025.
