The occupation army escalates its aggression in the West Bank and Jerusalem: arrests, injuries, uprooting of trees, and storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

At dawn on Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Al-Bireh, the Al-Amari refugee camp, and the town of Kafr Aqab, and deployed in large neighborhoods, including Al-Balou', the industrial zone, Al-Masyoun, Umm Al-Sharait, and Jabal Al-Tawil.

The occupation army set up military checkpoints on main streets, obstructing traffic, detaining and assaulting a number of Palestinians, and removing Palestinian flags from poles and shops.

Local sources told the Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, that the Israeli occupation forces transformed the Great Omari Mosque in the city of Al-Bireh into a field interrogation center for detainees and fired tear gas canisters at civilian gatherings, causing a number of Palestinians to suffer from suffocation.

Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 15 citizens during a large-scale raid in the city of Al-Bireh and the Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah, in addition to other arrests in the towns of Kafr Ni'ma in the west and Al-Amari refugee camp in the south.

In the vicinity of Al-Amari refugee camp, a young Palestinian man was shot in the foot by Israeli occupation forces and was transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah.

Widespread injuries and arrests

In the town of Araba, south of Jenin, a 12-year-old Palestinian boy was shot by Israeli occupation forces and transported to the hospital by Red Crescent crews. Another young man was injured and another arrested during clashes in the town of Kafr Aqab, north of occupied Jerusalem, where dozens of people suffered from tear gas inhalation.

In the Hebron Governorate, occupation forces arrested four citizens from the town of Idhna, west of the city, and seized two agricultural tractors. They also arrested four others from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and took them to the Etzion military camp.

They also arrested a citizen from the Tel Rumeida neighborhood in the city center, and imposed a curfew on several neighborhoods east of Hebron under the pretext of Jewish holiday celebrations

According to a joint report by the Palestinian Prisoners' Club, the Addameer Association, and the Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Commission, since October 7, 2023, occupation forces have arrested more than 20,000 Palestinians in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, including 1,600 children, 595 women, 202 journalists, and 360 doctors. At least 77 prisoners have been martyred in occupation prisons since that date.

The report indicated that the number of prisoners and detainees remaining in Israeli prisons exceeds 11,100, including 3,544 administrative detainees, 400 children, and 53 female prisoners, including two girls.

Settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque and uproot olive trees

In the southern West Bank, occupation forces and settlers uprooted 150 olive trees in the village of Umm al-Khair in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron, and destroyed an agricultural fence and barbed wire near the "Karmiel" settlement, built on Palestinian land.

In Ramallah, settlers attacked Palestinian homes in the town of Turmus Ayya, north of the city, assaulting a number of construction workers.the occupation army arrested a young Palestinian man during a raid on the town.


In occupied Jerusalem, hundreds of settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Tuesday morning under the protection of occupation forces from the Mughrabi Gate. They carried out provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals to mark the Jewish holiday of Sukkot.


According to the Islamic Endowments Department, 743 settlers participated in the raid, chanting provocative songs and dancing in front of the Dome of the Rock.


The Palestinian Ministry of Endowments said in its monthly report on Tuesday that settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque 26 times during September, while the occupation army prevented the call to prayer at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron 92 times.


​​​​​​​In parallel with the war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army and settlers in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, killed at least 1,048 Palestinians, injured approximately 10,300, and arrested more than 19,000, including 400 children, according to official Palestinian data.


With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving 67,173 martyrs and 169,780 wounded, most of them children and women, and a famine that has claimed the lives of 460 Palestinians, including 154 children.
