This came in a phone call between the two ministers on Thursday, according to sources in the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
Sources reported that the two ministers also discussed the implementation of the Declaration of Intent signed during the Middle East Peace Summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, earlier this week.
The sources added that the call also touched on developments in Syria, the Iranian nuclear program, and developments in the war between Russia and Ukraine, as part of ongoing coordination between Ankara and Washington on regional and international issues.
