Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso praised his players' contribution when they beat Getafe 1-0 in the ninth week of the Spanish League at the Coliseum Stadium, Madrid, early Monday morning WIB.
Quoted from the club's official website on Monday, Alonso said the players gave their all so they could win and return to the top of the Spanish League standings.
"It was a tough and demanding match. You have to know how to compete and be prepared for a match that might not be exciting. The team performed well and knew their job. We were focused and did what we had to do. We'll face next week with good energy," said Alonso.
