African football fans are turning their attention today, Monday, to Johannesburg, South Africa, to follow the draw ceremony for the group stage of the African Champions League

According to the official website of the Confederation of African Football, the draw ceremony will begin today at 2 pm Egypt time, 3 pm Saudi Arabia time. The day's events are scheduled to start with the draw for the African Confederation Cup first, before the Champions League draw is taken immediately.

The draw for the African Champions League will be broadcast today, Monday, via the open "On Sport" and "BeIN Sports" news channels on Nilesat.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) maintains the system adopted in recent seasons without any changes.

The tournament began with two preliminary stages, the first and second, before reaching the group stage, which includes 16 teams distributed into 4 groups, with 4 teams in each group.

The matches are played on a home-and-away basis, and the first and second place winners from each group qualify for the quarter-finals. The knockout rounds continue in the same format until the final match.
