Alpine boss James Vowles has given a positive signal that Franco Colapinto will remain with the team.
"I think he's got the seat next year, and I was very proud of him when the team announced that," Vowles told the Formula 1 website on Friday.
The Argentine driver made his debut with Williams in 2024 as a reserve driver.
After that, Colapinto, who did not get a position at Williams, moved to Alpine this season as a reserve driver.
