Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Andi Amran Sulaiman and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia admitted that they have been helped by the role of members of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) who are currently serving within the ministries they lead.
The statement was delivered by Minister of Agriculture Amran at the Presidential Palace complex, in response to the Constitutional Court's (MK) decision on the National Police Law.
"It helps, it really helps," said Andi Amran Sulaiman when asked about the role of Polri members in the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan).
However, Amran did not specifically mention the identity or position of the Polri member who is currently serving at the Ministry of Agriculture.
