ANTARA photojournalist wins 2025 Komdigi Journalism Award

Two photojournalists from the ANTARA National News Agency (LKBN) won awards in the photojournalism category at the 2025 Komdigi Journalism Awards held by the Ministry of Communication and Digital in Central Jakarta on Wednesday.

The two journalists who won awards were Aditya Pradana Putra as the first place winner with the work entitled "Child-Friendly Car Service for Lewotobi Refugees" and Muhammad Zulfikar as the third place winner with the work "Just Digital Literacy for Children in Conflict with the Law".

The photographic work "Child-Friendly Car Service for Lewotobi Refugees" by Aditya Pradana Putra tells the role of a digital service car that acts as a provider of entertainment and education for children affected by the eruption of Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki in East Flores Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) in 2024.

"When their schools were closed, when their play space was very limited in the evacuation center, this digital service car was there to provide entertainment and trauma healing for them," said Aditya.

At the award event, which carried the theme "PP Tunas: Building a Child-Friendly, Healthy, and Equitable Digital Space," Aditya hoped that Government Regulation Number 17 of 2025 concerning the Governance of Electronic Systems for Child Protection (PP Tunas) could play a role in protecting children from negative influences in the digital space properly.

"I hope this (PP Tunas) can create a good digital ecosystem for all children in Indonesia," he said.
