Arne Slot is not worried about his future at Liverpool  Liverpool manager Arne Slot is not worried about his future at the club following their ongoing crisis this season.

Liverpool suffered their second consecutive defeat at Anfield, beaten 4-1 by PSV Eindhoven in their fifth match of the 2025/2026 Champions League group stage on Thursday, WIB.

This was Liverpool's third consecutive defeat conceding three or more goals, and their ninth defeat in 12 games in all competitions this season.

"No, I'm not worried—I mean, my focus isn't on worrying about my position. I try to analyze and help the players as much as I can, and obviously I haven't done as well as I did last season because if you talk about individual mistakes, that's also part of the team's work. So I definitely have to improve, and that's what I try to do every day: improve the team. That's my main focus," Slot said after the defeat against PSV, as quoted on the club's official website on Thursday.

This defeat drops Liverpool to 13th in the Champions League standings with nine points. They are one point behind Sporting in eighth place, the final eight teams that automatically qualify for the round of 16.

Not only in European competition, Liverpool's poor form has also seen them drop to 12th in the Premier League standings with 18 points. This is a significant setback for Liverpool after a strong run in their first five matches, which ended in five wins.
