Persik Kediri beat Semen Padang 2-1  The home team, Persik Kediri, defeated their opponents, Semen Padang, 2-1 in the 2025/2026 Super League match held at Brawijaya Stadium, Kediri City, East Java, on Thursday.


Persik's two goals came from Jose Enrique Rodriguez in the 16th minute and Ezra Walian in the 34th minute. Semen Padang's only goal came from Samuel Christianson Simanjuntak in the 77th minute.


Persik dominated the match from the opening whistle. Several chances were created, leaving the Semen Padang players flustered.


Persik managed to steal a point from Jose Enrique's header. Starting from an accurate pass from Ezra Walian, Enrique pounced on the ball and left Arthur Augusto helpless. The goal came in the 16th minute, making the score 1-0.




Trailing by a goal, Semen Padang put pressure on Persik, but they were able to thwart it. Persik's goal remained secure.


Persik added another goal to their tally, thanks to Ezra Walian's goal in the 34th minute. The goal came from a cutback from Enrique, which Ezra met, creating a 2-0 lead that remained until halftime.


Entering the second half, the tempo of the game increased. Semen Padang changed the pattern of play and became more disciplined.


As a result, Semen Padang managed to break through Persik's goal in the 77th minute with a left-footed shot from Samuel Simanjuntak, making it 2-1.


The White Tigers didn't want to let the three points slip away. They defended their back line against Semen Padang's barrage of attacks. Five minutes of added time failed to change the outcome, leaving the final score at 2-1.
