Arsenal's backline is shaky ahead of facing Tottenham

Arsenal's backline is shaky ahead of the North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium, London, Sunday (23/11), following an injury to center-back Gabriel Magalhaes, while left-back Riccardo Calafiori is doubtful to play.

"Gabriel will be out for a few weeks. Calafiori hasn't trained with the team yet, but we still have training sessions to see how he's doing," said Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, as quoted on the Arsenal website on Saturday.

Gabriel was injured while playing for Brazil against Senegal on Saturday (November 15th). In the match, which Brazil won 2-0, Gabriel was substituted in the 64th minute.

Arteta stressed that the injury to the 27-year-old centre-back was a major blow to his team's defense.
