The Audi Formula 1 team, which recently unveiled its latest livery design for the 2026 season, featuring a dominant silver, red, and black color scheme, has set a target of becoming the Formula 1 world champion by 2030.
"We have a plan, we know our competitors are strong, but we're here to do our best. We're determined to win the championship by 2030. That's our ambition, our goal," Audi F1 project manager Mattia Binotto told the Formula 1 website on Friday.
Audi, which previously acquired Sauber, will try to develop and invest heavily to achieve its championship target in 2030.
"Our target is to continue building on the momentum we started this year," said Audi Team Principal Jonathan Wheatley.
To face its inaugural season in Formula 1, Audi will also invest heavily by developing their base in Hinwil which has been Sauber's base since 1993.
