Bad streak halted, Claxton's triple-double revitalizes Nets

Nic Claxton led the Brooklyn Nets to victory with his first triple-double to end a bad run and open up a new opportunity in the NBA Cup after defeating the Boston Celtics 113–105 at TD Garden, Boston, Saturday WIB.

Brooklyn appeared more confident throughout the game after ending a nine-game losing streak against Boston, especially thanks to Claxton's 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists.

According to the official NBA website, Michael Porter Jr. scored 33 points, and Noah Clowney added 19 for the Nets. The results mean Brooklyn has now won three games on the season, but is still struggling with 12 losses (3-12), or a 1-2 record in the NBA Cup.

Boston, playing as hosts, relied on Jaylen Brown for 26 points. However, Brown's progress was hampered after he suffered foul trouble, limiting him to 32 minutes. Neemias Queta also contributed 16 points and 12 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Celtics from a subpar performance, finishing 8-8, or 1-2 in the tournament.
