Beginner runners have dominated the Planet Sports Run in the last two editions, namely in 2024 and 2025.
MAP Active Marketing General Manager Panji Cakrasantana stated that the 5K (5 kilometer) race class, which is assumed to be a running level for beginners, recorded 50 percent of participants compared to the other two classes, namely 10K and Half Marathon.
"The total number of participants for the two editions was recorded at 7,000 people, so if 50 percent of the participants are included, that means there are 3,500 people for the 5K class," Panji said after attending the Planet Sports Run 2026 press conference.
