  The New York Knicks secured their spot in the NBA Cup knockout stage after defeating the Milwaukee Bucks 118-109, with star Jalen Brunson scoring 37 points to lift his team in a tight match in New York on Saturday.


Brunson was especially sharp in the third quarter, when he made 7 of 8 shots and helped the Knicks overturn a narrow halftime deficit.


The guard also closed the game with a series of crucial points in the final minutes. He had just returned from a right ankle injury, and this was his third game with over 30 points.


According to statistics from the NBA's official website, Miles McBride added 19 points, including two three-pointers early in the fourth quarter that gave the Knicks a 13-point lead. New York, shooting 44 percent from the floor, secured a 3-1 lead in Eastern Conference Group C.




Josh Hart contributed significantly with 19 points and 15 rebounds in his third start back in the series. Mikal Bridges added 14 points, while the Knicks maintained momentum despite some pressure from Milwaukee.
