Dhinda Pratiwi ends her struggle in the semifinals of the 2025 Korea Masters

Indonesian women's singles badminton player Ni Kadek Dhinda Amartya Pratiwi had to stop her progress in the semifinals of the 2025 Korea Masters after losing to the top seed from Taiwan with a score of 21-19, 19-21, 8-21 in Iksan City, South Korea.

Dhinda could have secured victory in the first game thanks to capitalizing on her opponent's mistakes, but she lost in the next two games.

"In the first game, I just went all out and went in first. My opponent also suffered a lot of self-defeats and I was eager to kill them off quickly. I tried to hold on and won by a narrow score of 21-19," said Dhinda in a written statement received in Jakarta on Saturday.

In the second game, the points were tight, until finally Chiu was able to turn the tables after finding a gap on Dhinda's left side of the court.

"In the final points, my opponent gave me the ball behind my left, and the lob was very attacking and deep, so many of my returns went wide, and my opponent got easy points," said Dhinda.
