Ducati Corse General Manager Luigi Dall'Igna is confident that Nicolo Bulega will be able to fulfill the trust entrusted to him as reserve rider for the remaining two rounds.
Ducati Lenovo has just appointed Bulega to replace Marc Marquez at the Portuguese GP and Valencia GP.
"Nicolo has been part of the Ducati Corse family since 2022. We believed in him, and he repaid us with two seasons as a star in Superbike, during which he nearly won the title and became our benchmark rider," Dall'Igna told the MotoGP website on Saturday.
Before being appointed as reserve rider, Bulega underwent a test session riding the Desmosedici GP at the Jerez Circuit this week.
