Liverpool striker Hugo Ekitike believes the match against Nottingham Forest in the 2025/2026 Premier League season at Anfield Stadium on Saturday (22/11) could be a turning point for their performance.
"I'm confident and believe we can do something. We still have a lot of games to bounce back, and this match will be good for us," Ekitike said, as quoted on Liverpool's official website on Friday.
The French player continued, football needs a moment to recover from difficult times.
Liverpool, he added, would also find that moment. Ekitika emphasized that he never doubted his team's quality.
"Football is all about momentum. We started the season with a lot of last-minute wins. Then we started losing games. But I think we can turn things around. We can improve and get better," said the 23-year-old striker.
