Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) coach Luis Enrique is reluctant to use the 2025 European Super Cup as a benchmark when facing Tottenham in the fifth match of the Champions League phase at the Parc des Princis Stadium, Paris, early Thursday morning WIB.Quoted from the club's official website on Wednesday, Enrique explained that the match between PSG and Tottenham in the 2025 UEFA Super Cup took place at the start of the season and the current situation is different.
"The Super Cup? That was the first game of the season; Wednesday's game will be different. It's a good memory because it ended well, but a bad memory if I think back to the first 60 minutes when we struggled," Enrique explained.
In the 2025 UEFA Super Cup, PSG emerged victorious by defeating Tottenham in a penalty shootout, which they won 4-3.
However, during that match, Les Parisiens were two goals behind Tottenham before they finally managed to equalize through Lee Kang-in and Goncalo Ramos.
