Ferrari is still giving Lewis Hamilton some time to adapt.
Hamilton, who was only brought in this season, has not yet shown a significant impact for the Italian factory team.
But Ferrari Team Principal Fred Vasseur said Hamilton still needed time to adapt to the SF-25.
"Sometimes there are drivers who start from P18 to P3 or P4," Vasseur said on the Formula 1 website on Saturday.
"Lewis needs the right time to get on the same page. This means we have to be in complete control of everything," he added.
