Following Norway, Denmark is also wary of the cybersecurity of Chinese-made buses.

The Danish government is concerned about Movia's fleet of Chinese-made electric buses, and is now on alert after learning that hundreds of Yutong electric buses can be remotely shut down by the manufacturer, or even by anyone with access to the company's computer systems.

While it has never actually happened, the mere possibility is enough to worry Danish officials, as these buses are a mainstay of transportation in the capital, Carscoops reported on Thursday (11/6).

Recently, Norway also felt the same concern, where after conducting secret trials on Chinese brand Yutong buses, which are used as the majority of public bus transportation there, they discovered the presence of hidden SIM cards, which are suspected of being able to control the buses remotely.
