Huawei is believed to be working on AR/VR or extended reality (mixed reality) glasses equipped with a detachable smart ring controller.
This is known from a new patent application submitted by Huawei based on a report from GSM Arena, Wednesday.
In the patent filed, these glasses are equipped with a strap that can be removed and turned into a ring.
The user should be able to control the interface displayed on the glasses when the ring is worn on his finger.
These glasses are also equipped with gesture recognition, pointing, and navigation features.
When this controller is attached to the glasses, users can also use it for simple things like tapping or swiping navigation on the glasses display.
