The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) received an award as the Third Best Ministry in Indonesia at the 2025 BKN Award event organized by the State Civil Service Agency.
The award was given based on an assessment of the management of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Ministry of Communication and Information, which includes indicators of the Implementation of the ASN Management NSPK Index, data management and information systems, talent management, and personnel service management.
"This third-place ranking shows the right direction in managing ASN in Komdigi," said Secretary General of Kemkomdigi Ismail, as quoted in a ministry press release in Jakarta on Friday.
He said the award received at the BKN Award event was proof that the Ministry of Communication and Digital had made breakthroughs in digitalizing information systems to realize professional, adaptive, and integrated civil servant management.
Ismail said that the BKN Award motivated the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs to continue improving the quality of bureaucracy in public services.
"The BKN assessment highlights critical areas for bureaucratic quality. This makes us increasingly aware that improvements in data, systems, and services must proceed more quickly," he said.
He stated that the Ministry of Communication and Digital will continue to innovate and ensure that bureaucratic digitization truly provides tangible benefits for the nation and state.
"We will continue to improve our talent management and information systems so that every employee works with robust data and clear processes," he said.
