Surgeons at the Primorsky Regional Oncology Center in Russia successfully performed a complex operation to remove a giant tumor weighing about 2 kg from the body of a 63-year-old woman

According to the Russian Telegram channel MASH, the woman consulted a doctor complaining of back pain, abdominal bloating, and numbness in her arms. After examinations, doctors discovered a large tumor weighing approximately two kilograms in her pelvic area and decided to transfer her to the Primorsky Regional Oncology Center for surgical removal.

Although the operation was risky because the tumor had spread to the uterus, ovaries, intestines and bladder, the doctors decided to go ahead.

The doctors at the center indicated that the operation was completely successful, the tumor was removed, and the patient is currently recovering.

It is worth noting that surgeons from the "Rushal" medical center in the suburbs of Moscow also succeeded last summer in performing a complex operation to remove a tumor from the heart of a five-year-old child.
