Lestari: Vision and collaboration equip the younger generation to face uncertainty  Deputy Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR RI), Lestari Moerdijat, stated that strong vision and collaboration, coupled with the ability to map problems and a broad network, are the tools for the younger generation to face current uncertainties.

"The current uncertainty is a battlefield that we must overcome together," Lestari said in a statement received in Jakarta on Friday.

Lestari made this statement at the National and State Actual Discussion Forum (FDABB) in front of students from the Santrendelik community in Semarang, Central Java on Thursday (20/11) evening.

At the event, Lestari, who is also a legislator on education, raised the spirits of the students present by revealing the struggles of the nation's predecessors in the past.

This member of Commission X of the Indonesian House of Representatives said that at that time, the independence fighters were dominated by the younger generation.

"In the past, young people not only took up arms, but contributed thoughts and hopes in the real struggle to win our independence. The uncertainty they faced was far more terrifying," he said.

Today's young generation, Lestari emphasized, must be able to become heroes in this era full of uncertainty.

"The younger generation must have courage and be able to be on the battlefield to face existing challenges," he said.

He said the challenge that must be faced today is how the younger generation of Indonesia can grow, stand tall, and remain intact as a nation in the dynamics of national and state life.
