Artificial intelligence (AI) company OpenAI is facing another lawsuit, this time from seven families, over the alleged influence of ChatGPT in the suicides of family members and the strengthening of delusions.
In more detail, four lawsuits related to allegations that ChatGPT was a cause of suicide and three other lawsuits alleged that ChatGPT strengthened dangerous delusions in people with mental health problems that required intensive hospitalization.
As reported by TechCrunch, the lawsuit generally accuses OpenAI of prematurely releasing the GPT-40 AI model and failing to provide effective protection for users.
