Artificial intelligence (AI) company , OpenAI, has introduced its AI video application called Sora on devices with the Android operating system.
The Sora app for Android is now available on the Google Play Store in the United States, Canada, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam, according to the company's announcement on Tuesday (November 4).
According to a report by The Verge on Wednesday, the app allows users to create, share, and remix AI-generated videos.
OpenAI launched Sora for the iOS operating system in September 2025 and the app reached over one million downloads within five days of launch.
In addition to presenting an AI-generated video feed similar to TikTok, Sora allows users to create AI content starring themselves or their friends with a "cameo" feature.
