The Central Board of the All-Indonesia Volleyball Association (PP PBVSI) announced the names of 14 athletes who will fill the Indonesian Men's National Volleyball Team to compete in the 2025 SEA Games Thailand.
In the list of players announced through the official PBVSI social media page monitored in Jakarta, Saturday, the men's national volleyball team squad is filled with several players who previously strengthened the team at the 2023 Cambodia SEA Games such as Boy Arnez Arabi, Fahri SEPTIAN Putratama, Rivan Nurmulki.
In addition, there are Agil Angga Anggara, Hendra Kurniawan, and Fahreza Rakha Abhinaya. The rest are young players like Rama Fazza Fauzan, Jordan Michael, Tedy Oka Syahputra, Kristoforus Sina, Jasen Natanael Kilanta, Alvin Daniel Oratama, and Prasojo.
The players will compete in Group B alongside the Philippines, Cambodia, and Myanmar. Meanwhile, Group A features hosts Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Singapore.
Indonesia will appear in Thailand as the defending champion after winning gold at the 2023 Cambodia SEA Games by defeating host Cambodia.
Cambodia's gold medal win was their third, following their victories at the 2021 Vietnam SEA Games and the 2019 Philippines SEA Games.
