The Indonesian Badminton Association (PP PBSI) has officially updated the list of players who will compete at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand, including non-national training camp men's doubles pair Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani and women's singles pair Gregoria Mariska Tunjung.In the latest list released on Friday, Sabar/Reza replaced young pair Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin, who were previously in the squad. Meanwhile, Gregoria replaced Thalita Ramadhani Wiryawan in the women's singles.
"This addition of names was made with technical and strategic considerations in mind so that the Indonesian team has the best composition in its effort to achieve the target of two gold medals at the 2025 SEA Games," said Head of the PP PBSI's Development and Presidential Affairs Division, Eng Hian, in an official statement.
He added that this step also serves as a form of PBSI's commitment to supporting the programs and policies of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) to achieve the national target of two gold medals in badminton.
