Semen Padang stole three points from Persijap Jepara's headquarters after picking up a narrow 2-1 victory in the 2025/2026 Super League match which took place at Gelora Bumi Kartini Stadium, Jepara, on Thursday.
The victory saw the Kabau Sirah team end a run of eight consecutive defeats.
This victory keeps Dejan Antonic's team stuck in 19th place with a collection of seven points from 12 matches.
Meanwhile, this defeat means Persijap Jepara failed to escape the relegation zone and suffered seven consecutive defeats.
Persijap is currently stuck in 18th place after collecting a total of eight points from 12 matches.
Starting the first half, high tension was immediately played by both teams who tried to control the tempo of the game.
Persijap had to play with ten men from the 23rd minute. Najeeb Yakubu committed a hard foul after a duel with Rui Pedro Ribeiro.
Semen Padang immediately took advantage of their advantage after scoring a goal in the 26th minute.
