The channel stated that human hearing is designed to listen to stereo sound, and that loading mono sound (on one ear) is completely unnatural.
Excessive listening through only one earphone can lead to serious consequences, such as tinnitus and even unilateral sensorineural hearing loss. When one ear becomes deaf, the other ear may subsequently begin to deteriorate as well.
This risk also applies to people who use only one earpiece or wear headphones constantly, such as call center employees.
This risk can be reduced by keeping the volume of the earphones lower than the ambient noise level in the room.
According to the channel, hearing problems usually appear after about a year, but in some people they may appear later.
