Sumardji is reluctant to comment on the "Burning Garuda" road map.

The chairman of the National Team Agency (BTN), Sumardji, did not want to comment further in response to the "Garuda Membara" road map circulating on social media.

"I can't answer that yet, I won't comment on that. Because I don't know where the source is from, right? Where's the source? Is it from PSSI?" Sumardji told reporters during the Indonesian U-22 national team training at Gelora Bung Karno Madya Stadium, Jakarta, Monday.

The Roadmap, which includes Indonesia's target of playing in the 2030 World Cup, was circulated one month after Indonesia failed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup after being defeated by Saudi Arabia and Iraq at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium, Jeddah, last month.

"Yes, ask where the source came from first. I don't know yet. Because I haven't been told," said Sumardji regarding the validity of the roadmap.
