The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the role of Andi Saguni (AS), Secretary of the Directorate General of Disease Control at the Ministry of Health, in the programs of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
"Investigators are examining witness AS in relation to his role as Secretary to the Directorate General in the President's Quick Win Program ," KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo told journalists in Jakarta on Saturday.
Budi explained that Andi Saguni was questioned by the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) on November 21, 2025, as a witness in the alleged corruption case regarding the construction project for the East Kolaka Regional General Hospital, Southeast Sulawesi.
Andi Saguni was questioned in his capacity as Secretary of the Directorate General of Health Services at the Ministry of Health for 2024–2025.
During their campaign for the 2024 election, Prabowo-Gibran made eight PHTC promises. These included providing free health checks, reducing TB cases by 50 percent within five years, and building high-quality, comprehensive hospitals in the districts.
