Sources in the Turkish Foreign Ministry said the meeting addressed the latest developments in Gaza in light of the ceasefire agreement, and the humanitarian situation in the sector.
The meeting comes at a time when the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that the number of Palestinian victims has risen to 68,858 martyrs and 170,664 wounded as a result of the genocide committed by the Israeli occupation army since October 2023.
On October 10, a ceasefire agreement, brokered by US President Donald Trump, came into effect, ending a two-year Israeli war of extermination. However, Israel repeatedly violated the agreement, resulting in the deaths of 226 Palestinians and injuries to 594 others, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
