The San Antonio Spurs have confirmed that their star center , Victor Wembanyama, will be sidelined for two to three weeks during the 2025-2026 NBA season due to a left calf strain.
The NBA website, Tuesday, stated that the club announced this confirmation following the results of the MRI scan that the French basketball player underwent on Monday (17/1).
Previously, the 2.24 meter tall player was absent from the Spurs' win against the Sacramento Kings.
The basketball player suffered a calf injury when the Spurs faced the Golden State Warriors on Friday (11/14), in a match that ended in a narrow 108-109 defeat.
