The ministry said in a statement that medical teams at Rafidia Governmental Hospital treated 8 injuries resulting from attacks by settlers and the occupation army in the towns of Tell, Burin and Sebastia, noting that all injuries were stable.
Later, three Palestinian women were injured after being assaulted by settlers while picking olives in the village of Tell, southwest of Nablus.
The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that its crews treated three women injured after they were attacked by Israeli settlers, while confirming that the attack occurred while they were working on their agricultural lands.
This attack comes in the context of almost daily violations committed by settlers against Palestinians in various areas of the West Bank, especially against olive pickers, often under the protection of the Israeli occupation army.
On Tuesday, the head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Mu'ayyad Sha'ban, said that "the occupation army and settlers have carried out 259 attacks against olive pickers since the beginning of the season last October."
These attacks are part of a broad Israeli escalation in the West Bank by the occupation army and settlers since October 8, 2023, which has resulted in the martyrdom of 1,063 Palestinians and the injury of about 10,000 others, in addition to the arrest of more than 20,000 people, including 1,600 children.
Since October 2023, the Israeli war of extermination in Gaza has resulted in the martyrdom of 68,858 people and the injury of 170,664, most of whom are children and women.
