350 young tennis players heat up IMTC in Tegal
  As many as 350 young tennis players are warming up for the Irawati Moerid Tennis Competition (IMTC) 2025 Tegal series at the Wisanggeni Sports Hall Tennis Court, Tegal City, Central Java on December 21 to 25.

The IMTC event, which is also a TDP (a tournament recognized by Pelti), not only received an enthusiastic welcome from young tennis players in Tegal City, but also from various other regions.

It was proven that 350 participants from a number of tennis clubs took part in this tournament, including K7G (Andi Kemtoeng), WTA, NextGen, JITA, Fl4m TC, SRTC, ALTEC, METEC, ATN Riau, SPTC, KTA, Budi Perfomance, and Jaguar Palu.

"IMTC supports the government's initiatives, through the Minister of Youth and Sports, and the Minister of Tourism, to ensure their success. We salute the President (Prabowo Subianto), who truly appreciates the athletes who have brought honor to Indonesia (the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand)," said Organizing Chair Irawati Moerid in an official statement on Saturday.

The IMTC Kadisporapar Cup of Tegal City competed in a number of numbers, including KU 8 and 10 Color ball,

KU TDP 10,12,14,16 and 18 years old men's and women's singles and doubles.

Head of the Tegal Sports and Tourism Office, Ikrar Yuswan A, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to IMTC for choosing Tegal City as part of the tournament organization.

Yuswan acknowledged that, in addition to being a platform for channeling the talents and abilities of young tennis players, this event also has an impact on the economy.

It is proven that hotel occupancy has increased significantly and food products produced by Tegal City's MSMEs are also selling well.

"A report from the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) shows that accommodation has increased by around 60 percent. Food is also selling well," said Yuswan.

Following the 2025 IMTC Kadisporapar Cup for Tegal City, IMTC also immediately launched the IMTC NASSAU for Tegal City.

This second event will take place at the same field, namely the Wisanggeni Sports Hall, from December 26 - 30.
