Medical sources said a Palestinian was killed by Israeli occupation army fire in the Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli military vehicles and drones have been firing at close intervals in the eastern areas of the Zeitoun neighborhood since the morning hours.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Civil Defense in Gaza announced that five Palestinians, including two women and two children, were injured as a result of the occupation army firing towards homes in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of the city, outside the areas it occupies.
The Civil Defense said in a statement: "Our teams were able to evacuate 5 wounded people, including two women and two children, who were injured by the occupation army's bullets in the Al-Sanafour area of Al-Tuffah neighborhood."
He added: "Our teams were also able to evacuate dozens of families who were trapped in their homes by the occupation forces using tank fire and drones."
Despite the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip between Hamas and Israel, the latter continued its violations of it and targeted Palestinians outside the areas to which it withdrew under the agreement, resulting in martyrs and wounded, while the agreement was supposed to end a genocide that Tel Aviv began on October 8, 2023.
That genocide left more than 70,000 Palestinian martyrs and about 171,000 wounded, most of them children and women, and massive destruction with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at about $70 billion, while the agreement came into effect on October 10th amid continuous violations by Tel Aviv.
