A Palestinian was killed by Israeli occupation forces in the northern West Bank, and raids targeted Palestinian refugee camps.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced in a statement that a citizen was killed and two others were injured, one of them critically, and were detained by the occupation army, which forced the ambulance crew to leave in the Azbat al-Tayyiba area near the village of Azzun, east of the city of Qalqilya.

In a separate statement preceding this one, the association indicated that the army had allowed its crews to provide first aid to two of the injured, confirming that there was a "martyr at the site".

In a separate incident, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that a child was injured by shrapnel from bullets fired by the army during a raid on the town of Burqin, west of Jenin. WAFA added that the 12-year-old child was hit by shrapnel in his knee while playing on his bicycle.

With the death of the Palestinian near Qalqilya, the number of Palestinian martyrs in the ongoing Israeli escalation for more than two years rises to 1,091, in addition to about 11,000 wounded and more than 21,000 arrests, according to official data.

Meanwhile, on Sunday evening, the Israeli occupation army stormed several Palestinian areas in the occupied West Bank, in addition to distributing notices to demolish residential and agricultural structures, according to official Palestinian sources.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that Israeli forces stormed the Al-Far’a camp south of Tubas city in the northern West Bank, using several military vehicles, while infantry elements spread out inside the camp’s neighborhoods without any reported arrests.

In the central West Bank, Wafa reported that army forces stormed the town of Al-Mazra’a Al-Sharqiya and the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, while the Voice of Palestine radio station (government-run) reported that similar raids took place in the towns of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, and Al-Ram, north of Jerusalem.

In the southeastern Jerusalem area, Wafa reported that the Israeli occupation army delivered more than 10 notices to demolish residential and agricultural structures near the Arab al-Jahalin community, as part of the policy of expanding demolitions and notices in the area.

According to data from the Jerusalem Governorate for last November, the Israeli occupation army carried out 27 demolition and bulldozing operations, in addition to distributing 45 demolition notices for Palestinian homes and facilities.

In conjunction with the two years of genocide that Tel Aviv began in Gaza on October 8, 2023, the West Bank is witnessing an unprecedented escalation in attacks by the Israeli occupation army and settlers against Palestinians, their property and livelihoods.

The two-year Israeli war of extermination left more than 70,000 Palestinian martyrs and about 171,000 wounded, most of them children and women, and massive destruction with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at about $70 billion.
