A series of records broken by Indonesian athletes at the 2025 SEA Games
Indonesia not only recorded achievements in terms of medals at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand, but also set a number of new records, both at the SEA Games and international level.

The highest record was set by lifter Rizki Juniansyah in the men's 79 kg weightlifting class.

The athlete from Banten broke two world records at once, each in the clean and jerk with a weight of 205 kg and a total lift of 365 kg.

This achievement surpasses Rizki's previous world record. At the 2025 IWF World Weightlifting Championships in Forde, Norway, last October, he recorded a clean and jerk of 204 kg and a total lift of 363 kg.

Indonesia also set a new SEA Games record in shooting. Muhammad Iqbal Raja Prabowo recorded a score of 582 in the qualifying round of the men's 10-meter air pistol event, equaling the SEA Games record held by Vietnamese shooter Hoang Xuan Vinh at the 2015 SEA Games in Singapore.
