"Indeed, when a contract is signed (with another club), it means both parties are in agreement and happy. However, as a coach, I can only hope we don't lose Semenyo because he is important to this team," Iraola said, as quoted on the Premier League's official website on Wednesday.
The Spanish tactician said that Semenyo had played well this season and consistently scored goals.
"You don't know what will happen in the future; I can't control that. In the summer transfer window, many of our players moved teams. I don't know what will happen in the winter," said Iraola.
