Umsura appreciates two national futsal team athletes who won gold at the SEA Games.

  Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya (Umsura) expressed its appreciation to two student athletes, Samuel Eko Putra Tampubolon and Israr Megantara, who led the Indonesian National Futsal Team to win a gold medal at the 2025 Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games).

"We, the extended Umsura family, congratulate the Indonesian National Futsal Team, especially Samuel Eko and Israr, who are Umsura students. This achievement makes the nation and the campus proud," said Umsura Rector Dr. Mundakir in Surabaya, Wednesday.

Mundakir said the achievement is in line with the commitment of Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya to make the campus a home for champions, both in academics and professional sports.
